Brussels, Belgium, April 29, 2020 -
MSC Cruises announced today a further extension to halting all departures from its cruise fleet until July 10.
MSC Cruises offers customers affected by this measure a “voucher for a future cruise” (MSC FUTURE CRUISE VOUCHER) which allows them to transfer the entire amount paid for their canceled cruise to a new cruise of their choice - on any ship, for any route - until the end of 2021. In addition, customers will receive a credit of 100 to 400 euros per cabin, depending on the duration of their initial cruise.
The company previously announced the temporary shutdown of all its ships worldwide until May 29.
The cruise deferral flexibility program is now extended to all reservations existing between July 11 and September 30, 2020 in order to offer greater flexibility to all customers who currently book with MSC Cruises between July 11 and 30 September 2020, the company announced today that these reservations will now be covered by an extension of its carry-over flexibility program.
This program allows customers who have already booked on a MSC Cruises ship to postpone their cruise to a later departure date until December 31, 2021, either directly or through a travel agency.
Customers and their travel agents will be able to transfer these reservations free of charge, on any ship, for any itinerary and will be charged the price of the day of the new cruise.
