Once online, you can also communicate with friends who have Animal Crossing: New Horizons and use a smartphone for text or voice chat using the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now in stores and on the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch.
