Tomorrowland Winter 2020 festival is canceled
Press release / March 5, 2020 at 10.05 am The editing of Tomorrowland Winter had started since the beginning of February 2020. Today, it is with a heavy heart that we were informed by the French government of the decision to cancel this second edition of the festival which was to have place from March 14 to 21. Since Saturday, we have been in close contact with the French authorities to define the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) on the festival and have just received their official decision. The French government has taken drastic measures concerning COVID-19 in France by prohibiting large gatherings of people in confined spaces and those bringing together participants of different nationalities. The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski and its resorts (Alpe d'Huez, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany, Auris en Oisans and Villard Reculas) remain open to visitors and all the usual activities take place normally (ski lifts, ski slopes , bars, restaurants ...), as in any French ski resort. All our visitors will be contacted personally by email and via their Tomorrowland account in order to define the next steps. |
