When a package travel contract as referred to in article 2, 3 °, of the law of November 21, 2017 relating to the sale of package tours, related travel benefits and travel services is terminated, either by the travel organizer, or by the traveler, the travel organizer is entitled to issue him, instead of a refund, a voucher corresponding to the value of the amount paid This voucher meets the following conditions: 1 ° the voucher represents the total value of the amount already paid by the traveler; 2 ° no cost will be charged to the traveler for the delivery of the voucher; 3 ° the voucher has a validity of at least one year; 4 ° the voucher clearly indicates that it was issued following the coronavirus crisis. § 2. The traveler cannot refuse the voucher which meets the conditions referred to in paragraph 1 Art. 2. Tour operators keep a permanent register of all vouchers issued, their value and their holder. Art. 3. The insurance contract referred to in Article 3 of the Royal Decree of 29 May 2018 on protection against insolvency when selling package tours, linked travel benefits and travel services covers the reimbursement of vouchers referred to in article 1. Art. 4. This decree comes into force on the day of its publication in the Belgian Official Gazette and ceases to be in force three months after its entry into force. So you can now offer vouchers for all trips that had to be canceled due to the coronavirus crisis. Please note that this decree is not valid for individual services.
