A kitchen, two atmospheres, three spaces

The flagship address of the Sacred Island, in the heart of the Capital of Europe, the restaurant "Les Armes de Bruxelles" is a veritable conservatory of traditional Belgian cuisine.

Must we remember that this is where the mussels were served for the first time in pots and that were born such iconic recipes as snail mussels or the inevitable crêpes flambé in the Mandarine Napoléon

Today, proud of this prestigious gourmet heritage, the chef Cédric Callenaere continues the gourmet search for the founders, in a setting that is truly part of the history of Brussels.
The Brussels Arms, which want to be more accessible than ever, come in two distinct atmospheres, to meet all the expectations of its customers.

Brewery and Rotunda
The "brewery" part, with its "historic" compartmentalized banquettes, has for some time been more relaxed, with a table setting that is both contemporary and convivial.
Exit the traditional topping that gives way to a presentation more focused on the brewery side of the establishment, this however without sacrificing anything to the elegance of the place.
An evolution that aims to make the beautiful dining room less solemn and more suitable for a clientele of regulars, for an informal meal.

That the aficionados of the house are not afraid however: the other section of the Weapons, better known under the name of "Rotonde", with, among others, its famous table Jacques Brel, keeps for its part all its original character.
Opulent wall hangings, magnificent stained glass windows and, of course, traditional table dressing: everything goes together to revive the grand hours of an iconic house.

The same gourmet offer

If the difference of atmosphere between the two sections is also marked in the "look" of the personal, contemporary at the brewery, traditional rotunda, the difference stops there, because the gourmet offer of the card remains the same on both sides, with all the Belgian-Belgian specialties of the chef but also beautiful suggestions of the moment inspired by the market and unbeatable lunches compared to the quality of the products implemented.
This through a map that includes of course all the great classics that have made the name of the brand for years, but also suggestions that are regularly the indicator of the coming season.
However, more creative this time, the chief of weapons does not fear a small folly brilliantly imagined, for the delight of the hosts, a beautiful poached egg, always unctuous muslin but, in addition, a generous spoon of caviar "Royal Select", for a sumptuously tasty result.

To be complete, we should also speak of a third section: that of the room privatizable, also elegant and contemporary and that is a perfect place to organize all kinds of family meetings, friendly and professional, with a very beautiful offer particularly suitable for this type of event.

Finally, we must also announce the arrival in the team of a professional bartender, old road cocktails and, in addition to his expertise in wine, will meet all the expectations of the public in terms of thirst quenches.
In short: a house as historic as it is sturdy in its time, as open to the traditional Belgian clientele as to all those, wherever they come, who want to seize a bit of the authentic soul of Brussels.
