A SURE VALUE

IN A HOUSE UCCLOISE AT THE INIMITABLE CHARM

Who does not know, the T'Misverstand, this well-known Ucclois restaurant which is located along the Chaussée d'Alsemberg?
Praised by its loyal customers, it is frequented today by many visitors: young and old all in love with the place and its cuisine.

Real institution for lovers of good food, gourmets are certain to find in this tercentennial Brussels house (from 1640), which has been tastefully renovated, an atmosphere like nowhere else!
T 'Misverstand was awarded 9/10 by Trip Advisor. A sure bet of Franco-Belgian gastronomy that satisfies our taste buds.

Decor side:

Bright and warm colors, between white and artichoke, chosen by Flamant, wooden benches in the brewery spirit, beams painted in the same tones, all harmonizing perfectly with the original small windows, the old tiles On the ground.

Another curiosity of the place: a collection of beautiful black and white photos (our favorite: the one showing Sinatra, Dean Martin and their friends, members of the famous "rat pack", and the one where we can see Laurel and Hardy in full session of tasting!), a soft light, never aggressive, just like the very jazzy sound atmosphere, and, last but not least, a beautiful terrace fully furnished and paved, furnished with teak furniture, where you eat totally quiet, surrounded by greenery, almost in the countryside.

Between the old and the new: a cuisine that oscillates between classics and seasonal suggestions

Les plats du ‘T Mis sont conçus pour satisfaire toutes les envies, toutes les faims.
Avec une carte qui change régulièrement, des suggestions en fonction des saisons…
Des plats composés avec des produits de qualité, fruit de relations privilégiées avec des fournisseurs « attitrés » depuis des années.
De quoi maintenir une authentique relation de confiance avec une clientèle d’habitués.
Les panneaux avec suggestions proposent également de nouvelles préparations que chacun pourra adapter selon ses envies. 

The prices ? Very reasonable:

Which dishes? As an example, between classics and touches of originality

• Scallops with lime
• Pavé à la française (cracked pepper knife).
• Bluefin tuna / vegetable wok accompanied by spotted potatoes and butter mounted.
• Braised veal rice good fork
• Irish ribs (1 kilo, 2 seats)
• Sole meunière (400gr) and chicory salad

Wines ? Essentially French:

Same price policy accessible (20.50 euros the house selection in three colors), Loire, Languedoc, Rhone, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, Pomerol and Burgundy.

The most of 'T Mis: small touches, which also make the difference:

• a valet service at noon and in the evening, with if you wish car wash of his car
• a smile as professional reception, without haste but also without wasting time
• Children's dishes, a free menu for children under 12 (1 menu per table)
• convenient opening hours, from noon to 3 pm (last order) and from 6 pm to 10 pm (until 11 pm last order Friday and Saturday)
• a banquet hall (up to 35 people, with projection equipment available) or 50 people for a walker dinner.
