Le Petit Pont

Push the door of the Petit Pont at the Parvis Saint-Pierre in Uccle you will not be disappointed

Like everyone in the hospitality industry, the past period has been difficult. The Petit Pont welcomes you again, for your greatest pleasure, in its exceptional setting.

The town of Uccle has long been privileged in terms of good, friendly and affordable restaurants and the Parvis Saint-Pierre district is particularly spoiled in terms of gourmet addresses. The least of these is certainly not the Petit Pont, a magnificent former post office which, with its structure on two levels, invites you to spend a pleasant gourmet moment.

You should know that the floor below the current rue du Doyenné is in fact the original level of the site of the forecourt. Completely moved in a post-industrial style with beautiful exposed red bricks and enhanced with old advertising plates, the whole building constitutes an astonishing setting, as conducive to the most intimate one-to-one meetings as to the most lively happy tables.

Momo, at the helm, makes it a point of honor to satisfy her customers both in terms of reception and food. Fallen into the pot of catering from a very young age, we had known him at the Brasserie Georges and then, on his own account at the Petits Bouchons, chaussée d'Alsemberg. There, in the company of his wife Gwendoline, now a teacher at Ceria, he offered cuisine that was as tasty as it was lively.

Having restored its Petits Bouchons to its time, Momo is happily working to restore the Petit Pont to its former glory by offering a brasserie menu of classic French cuisine with authentic and comforting dishes. At the Petit Pont, the menu is renewed every 6 weeks to give pride of place to the best seasonal products on the market. A real treat for the most demanding appetites.

At noon, a neat lunch at 24.90 with a choice between 3 starters, 3 main courses and a dessert of the day allows you to familiarize yourself with the house without breaking the bank. For those who opt for a starter and a main course, the price will be 21€. A table of suggestions gives the choice between different dishes of the house.

As for wines, the Petit Pont is not left out. More than 80 references are available in whites, reds and bubbles. Alongside French wines, you can discover Italian and Spanish wines to warm your heart and flatter your taste buds.

In the glasses, after a very nice offer of aperitifs and cocktails, we are spoiled for choice with an intelligent selection of the best bottles imported to us by the house of Godaert and Van Beneden, rich in clean bottles to meet all thirsts and all budgets, without forgetting a nice selection of wines by the glass.

The service, as feminine as it is precise, is provided by excellent professionals wearing elegant and stylish aprons. They bring a little extra soul to an atmosphere that is already warm by the very nature of the place.

In summer, with a magnificent terrace which is one of the most beautiful opportunities for relaxation in the district, which has heating and plaids for the cooler evenings, in other words, the little bridge is always full. For aperitif lovers, small tastings are served as an accompaniment, enough to spend one of the most pleasant moments of the day.

As you will have understood, Le Petit Pont will be the essential gourmet stopover for the months to come! Knowing a guaranteed success, it is better to reserve your table in advance.

New from this month of May: afternoons on the terrace a brasserie service will satisfy lovers of a moment of relaxation.
