The excitement of the holiday season is now behind us.
The cities of the Czech Republic regain their calm and serenity; a good time to spend a moment for two!
On the program, long romantic walks in the snow, reunion around a sweet treat and a hot drink, relaxation in a wellness area ...
Whether in Prague, Bohemia or Moravia, February is full of romantic places to go with your partner.
With its charming little alleys, its panoramic viewpoints and its many bridges, the Czech capital is one of the most romantic cities in Europe and therefore one of the favorite destinations of many couples.
Among the activities, why not treat yourself to a moment of relaxation on the roof of a hotel by privatizing a jacuzzi just for you? After dark, take in the enlightened city by boarding a Vltava cruise for a romantic dinner.
For those who wish to try a widespread practice in winter, many skating rinks will be installed in the city. Put on your skates and skate hand in hand under the TV tower in Žižkov or in Letná Park.
Live a castle life for a weekend
Discover the rich architectural heritage of the Czech Republic by discovering its castles.
Among them, some will receive you like royalty thanks to their unique atmosphere and services.
Located one hour from Prague, Mcely Castle is an ideal place for a break for two.
Between its luxurious spa which offers its own organic cosmetics and its delicious table, you will keep an excellent memory.
An hour west of the capital, the romantic Zbiroh Castle welcomes residents to apartments occupied by emperors and kings.
Don't miss the castle tavern, where local specialties are served in a vintage atmosphere.
To the east of Prague, not far from the silver city Kutná Hora, find Hostačov Castle, where calm and luxury will be the watchwords of your stay.
The rooms, decorated with period furniture and offering a view of the castle's forest park, will be a real cozy nest.
Some castles are also worth a visit, just for exploring their interiors.
In South Bohemia, visit the romantic Hluboká Castle, which will immerse you in a fairy tale.
With its unique style inspired by the castles of England, it will appear as a real jewel surrounded by the snow-covered park. You can stay right opposite, at the Diamant hotel, which offers an excellent wellness area for guaranteed relaxation.
You can also take the opportunity to visit Český Krumlov, a medieval town on the UNESCO World Heritage List, located around 30 km away.
Discovering the regions to spend a romantic moment
Whether in the West, in Central Bohemia or in Moravia, the authenticity and romanticism of the cities and towns of the Czech Republic make them ideal destinations to celebrate Valentine's Day.
Karlovy Vary, the spa town in West Bohemia, is ideal for long walks in the city or in the surrounding forest.
Luxury hotels such as the neo-classical Grand Hotel Pupp or the Hotel Imperial can welcome you for a candlelit dinner followed by a pleasant night.
Surrounded by vineyards, the Moravian town of Mikulov will be the favorite of lovers of good wine.
The surrounding landscapes will be an ideal environment for a tasting accompanied by local specialties.
Further north, in central Moravia, is the town of Olomouc which will seduce you with its baroque monuments and its picturesque town center.
