After two and a half months, the qualification process for the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup has ended.
A solid team of 40 sim runners from 14 countries make up the grid.
The 22-year-old Formula 1 driver, Max Verstappen (NL), is one of the 20 drivers to win a place through the "Porsche iRacing Cup" qualification procedure.
The other half of the grid consists of the 20 best competitors of the 2019 season.
Last year's champion Joshua Rogers of Australia and other sim racing professionals are among this group.
The new season of the digital racing series takes off on May 2 on the Zandvoort virtual circuit on the Dutch North Sea coast.
This year, pilots will compete for a total of US $ 200,000.

More than 5,000 participants took part in the qualification races for the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup.
This year, title defender Joshua Rogers (VRS Coanda Simsport) of Gladstone, Australia, joins Max Verstappen (Team Redline) of the Netherlands on the grid this season.
Among this season's participants are also Maximilian Benecke, 25 (D / Team Redline) and Sebastian Job (GB / Red Bull Racing Esports Team) of Great Britain's East Grinstead. This trio won the first three places in the general classification in 2019.
Ten events make up the 2020 calendar for the world championship series.
Each race day consists of five sessions.
A free practice (20 minutes) is followed by a 12-minute qualifying session in an individual time trial, a 15-minute sprint race, a warm-up (ten minutes) and the main race of 30 minutes.
The drivers earn points towards the championship of the two races.
Victory in the sprint event is rewarded with 25 points, with the winner of the main event receiving double the points. The first five qualified also receive additional points.
The pole sitter wins ten points for the general classification.
